My Opinion:
I love the Law of Attraction and love getting/reading everything I can put my hands on about the subject. Every author has a new perspective on how to use the Law of Attraction, and therefore speaks to me in different ways. So when I found out about "Shotgun Shopping" by Sheevaun O'Connor Moran, I knew I had to get my hands on it to see what new things I could learn. I've learned a lot, but the first thing I learned is that this is not a book to read once from cover to cover. This is a book I'm gonig to want to read again and again, and I'll also want to go through it slowly to really learn what she has to teach.
The big thing that spoke to me about this book was the whole idea that she, Sheevaun Moran, hates shopping. The older I have gotten, the more I hate shopping. I hate the hunting, I hate the looking, I hate the sales people, and I really hate the lines and the prices of things! So, when I read how she goes about shopping and getting exactly what she wants, for the price she wants, in the TIME she wants it... well that just thrilled me to pieces! I can't tell you how many times I have been in a store, not thrilled with the selection, but finally finding something to buy, and then leave without it because of the lines at the checkout! I hate that!
In the book, Shotgun Shopping, she tells you lots of ways, that are pratical and easy to do, to cut your shopping time tremendously. Including who not to shop with! Which was another part of the book that spoke too me. My sister is a shop-a-holic! I love her to death, but I can't stand to shop with her. She stops at everything, wants to look at and touch everything, and not only does it wear on my nerves it also wears on my back too. So I don't go shopping with her unless I have an exact list of what she wants to buy and we ONLY go buy that. Which is actually suggested in the book! Who knew I was already a shotgun shopper!
Like I said, this is not a book to just read once. You'll want to read this book from cover to cover, before you start implementing all the techniques. Just so you have a good grasp on what it is she's teaching you. What I plan to do, is go back to the beginning of the book, and take my time to really read each chapter and start working on all the things it suggests. I'm going to blog about it on my personal blog, Wyndsong Writes, as well. To keep track of what I'm doing and how it's going. Should be very interesting indeed!
I recommend this book to anyone! Young or old, you're gonna want to try out this book. It's got a lot of great suggestions on how to get exactly what you want. Even if you love shopping, this book will make your shopping experience even better! But if you hate shopping, like I do, then this is definitely the book for you!
