As some of you may know, I participated in going through a 100 day program with Honoree Corpron Corder that she wrote a book about. This is one of the best self help books out there, and maybe the only one out there specifically for single moms. Now Honoree is giving away a signed copy of her book! Single moms have so much to do! Raise the kids, go to work, do the laundry, help with homework … and cook dinner? For all of my years as a single mom, I felt like a failure in the “cooking healthy meals” category. I really wanted to make a balanced breakfast to give my daughter a great start to the day, pack her lunch with multiple creative Martha Stewart-esque yummies, cook a healthy dinner every night, yet I found myself downing a protein shake while I made yet another PB&J sandwich or pot of beans and wieners.
What to do? I went in search of healthy, home-cooked meals that contained a manageable number of ingredients and would be ready and on the table in about 20 minutes.
What I discovered was that there were so many healthy and nutritious recipes I could make that my daughter would actually eat! Not only that, she would ask for them over and over!

Books 4 Moms – A new direction
This website was originally going to be a book store for moms, but for various reasons that didn’t quite work out. So instead I”ve decided to change the focus of this website from selling books to reviewing them. I still may have some links to where you can buy the various books that I review, but more often than not I”ll have books that you can download for free. Free is great, isn’t it!
The books that I will be reviewing will vary quite a bit. Mostly because my taste in books varies. I’ll be reviewing spiritual, fantasy, science fiction, children’s books, refrence books, and much more. I will post at about once a week, depending mostly on how often I get through a book that I like and want to share it with all of you!
