Accidentally on Purpose: The True Tale of a Happy Single Mother by Mary F. Pols
Back of the Book:
At thirty-nine, movie critic Mary Pols knew she wanted to have a baby. But never—not in a million years—on her own. When she finds herself unexpectedly expecting, she plunges into the greatest adventure of her life. With humor, insight, and compelling honesty, Pols reveals what it means to compromise in the name of love and to find joy in an accidental life, suddenly brimming with purpose.
Review – Ebook – The Homeschoolers Income Makeover
The Homeschoolers Income Makeover By Tisha Silvers
I was lucky enough to be on a homeschooling email list with Tisha, which is how I found out about this wonderful e-book of hers. She is a homeschooling parent, and has started several of her own home based businesses. In this wonderful book, she not only shows you how to do the very same thing, but she also gives you a ton of resources both for business AND homeschooling.
It's an amazing book that tells you how to go through the various steps of starting your own businessTisha gives you resources that are both on and off line, some of which you wouldn’t have been able to find on your ownI know this, because I’ve looked and almost all of the online sources were new to meThere are some that I’ve found before, but without her personal recommendation on them, I wouldn’t have gone back to themShe also gives you some great advice on how to find and use great resources off line as wellIdeas that made me hit my forehead thinking “why didn’t I think of that!"
Trish Silvers puts all of this into one great package, in an easy to read, well thought out, and inspiring book. Knowing that not only is she a homeschooler, but this is written expressly for homeschoolers, makes this book even betterAnd the price of the book makes it even more available to even the tightest budget. I highly recommend that every homeschooler who needs to bring in extra money should get The Homeschoolers Income Makeover. And if you’re a single mom like me, who’s also homeschooling, it’s a MUST HAVE!
